Havana, February 5 (RHC)--The president of the United States, Donald Trump, insisted this Tuesday on his interfering attitude in the internal affairs of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua.
In his annual State of the Union address to Congress and guests, he said he wants to help Cubans, Venezuelans, and Nicaraguans restore what Washington understands as democracy.
According to the impeached Republican president, once again, he said his country defends freedom in the Western Hemisphere.
Replying on Twitter to his remarks on Cuba, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said: ¨"If President Trump wants to support the Cuban people, he would have to lift the genocidal blockade, resume the forbidden flights and grant visas to Cubans. He should re-establish US citizens' freedom to travel to Cuba."
