Havana, February 10 (RHC)-- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Andorra, Maria Ubach Font, is beginning a visit to Cuba on Monday, the island's Foreign Ministry announced.
In Havana, the official will hold talks with Cuban authorities and fulfill an agenda of activities as part of the bilateral exchange.
The Principality of Andorra is a landlocked microstate on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south. It has maintained diplomatic relations with Cuba since October 1995.
Under the slogan: Innovation for Sustainable Development-Goal 2030, Andorra is organizing the 27th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, composed of nineteen countries of America, including Cuba.
The Summit will take place in November.
