Washington, March 16 (RHC)-- The Cuban Embassy in the United States will suspend all on-site consular services at the Consular Office in Washington D.C. as of this Tuesday, due to the declaration of a National Emergency, issued on March 13 by the Trump Administration.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry website reported that the consular office will continue to offer its services in a non-face-to-face way, through the mail, or through the agencies with which the Consulate has an established contract.
The measure will remain in force until further notice and in the presence of COVID-19 in the United States, the Cuban community resident in that country is urged to comply with health instructions.
More than 4,000 cases of this disease have been detected in the northern nation, with some 70 deaths reported.
