Havana, March 27 (RHC)-- Cuba's Council of Ministers has created a temporary working group charged with presenting new measures to strengthen the confrontation with COVID-19, official sources said Friday.
The group will be made up of several ministers. It will be led by the deputy prime minister and head of Economy and Planning, Alejandro Gil, according to reports on the meeting of the highest governing body, which took place this week.
The encounter was led by President Miguel Diaz-Canel and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero.
They cover (the provisions) the economic and social areas, and the government will focus on strict compliance with a constant check, said Marrero.
He said that the enforcement of the new measures is fundamental, and he urged local governments to confront the wrong behavior in public places in conjunction with the National Revolutionary Police.
