Havana, May 8 (RHC) – The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) issued a statement expressing concern about the decision by the U.S. State Department to again include Cuba on its unilateral blacklist of states sponsors of international terrorism, despite such measure has been rejected inside the US and around the world.

In its statement, CELAC recalls Paragraph 41 of the Havana Declaration, the Special Statement in Support of the Fight on Terrorism in all its forms and ways, which was adopted by the heads of state and government of Latin America and the Caribbean during the 2nd Summit of the bloc, held January 28th and 29th in Havana.

The Latin American and Caribbean organization reiterates its full rejection of unilateral lists that accuse the states of alleged support or sponsorship of terrorism and urges Washington to put an end to such practice.
