Havana, October 28 (RHC)-- The Cuban Ministry of Public Health informed Wednesday that after analyzing the record number of 8,201 samples to detect COVID'19 on the island, 49 people tested positive.
The country now accumulates 6,727 cases and 128 deaths.
At yesterday's close, 3,928 patients were admitted to hospitals, of whom 848 were suspects, 2,590 were under observation, and 490 were positive cases.
Of the 49 newly diagnosed cases, 47 are Cuban, and two are foreign.
The provinces of Pinar del Rio reported 22 cases and Ciego de Avila 22.
