Havana, Jul 31 (RHC)-- Cuban health authorities reported 8 875 new cases of COVID-19 and 65 deaths in the last 24 hours due to complications from the disease.
The Caribbean nation now accumulates 384,596 patients diagnosed with the virus since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020 and 2,758 fatalities.
As of midnight, there were 42 814 confirmed patients island-wide.
Havana reported the most cases, 1994. It was followed by Cienfuegos with 1194, Matanzas 1042 and Ciego de Avila 774.
