Havana, September 6 (RHC)-- The representation in Cuba of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)supports the country's efforts against Covid-19 by acquiring an oxygen generating plant, which arrived on the island over the weekend.
The Fund will continue to help the Government's actions against the pandemic and favor medical care for the affected people, particularly the most vulnerable UNICEF representative in the country, Brandao Co, said.
The equipment, with a capacity to produce 50 cubic meters per hour of the gas, will be destined to the Ministry of Public Health, said a release on UNICEF's office website.
This contribution counted on the efforts of UNICEF, the Cuban Civil Defense, the Ministry of Commerce and Foreign Investment, the Integral Automation Enterprise, which belongs to the Ministry of Industry, and Cubaelectrónica, the note states.
