La Paz, January 2 (RHC) Bolivian President Luis Arce highlighted Cuba's scientific, social and cultural achievements on Saturday and described them as an example for the world 63 years after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

On Twitter, the head of State sent a strong embrace to Cubans and his counterpart, Miguel Diaz-Canel, on the new anniversary of the January 1, 1959 deed.

For his part, Vice President David Choquehuanca tweeted that Cuba has been an example of resistance, dignity, sovereignty, solidarity, and freedom of the region's peoples.

"From the sacred Titi Kaka Lake, a strong embrace to the people, Government, and the Cuban Revolution," Choquehuanca wrote on Twitter. The Cuban social project, which emerged from the revolutionary triumph led by Fidel Castro, continues standing despite the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed on Cuba by the Government of the United States for almost six decades.

In addition to that unilateral policy tightened during the Covid-19 pandemic, Cuba has had to deal with media campaigns and destabilizing actions financed from Washington to overthrow the Revolution.
