Luanda, Aug 29 (RHC)-- Angolan President João Lourenço met on Monday with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, who traveled to Luandal for the state funeral of former president José Eduardo dos Santos.
At the end of the visit to the Ciudad Alta Palace, the Cuban official told the press that the conversation was "as always, very constructive," in which "the bonds of friendship and cooperation were reaffirmed, based on the roots shared by both peoples and governments."
Cabrisas conveyed to the Angolan leader the greetings of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro, and of President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
He added that in the meeting, they discussed the interest of advancing in cooperation "on a mutually beneficial basis, taking care of the objectives in favor of both peoples."
