The blockade must end

Havana, Oct 7 (RHC) Through his Twitter account, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, condemned the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the island.

For his part, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez denounced on his Twitter that the tour of Latin America by U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken seeks to defend his country's hostile policy towards the island.

The head of U.S. diplomacy arrived Thursday in Chile after a visit to Colombia, where he met with President Gustavo Petro, who described as unjust the U.S. decision to keep Cuba on the list of countries that allegedly support terrorism when the island has been a guarantor of the peace agreements.

Blinken will conclude his tour in Peru, where he plans to meet with President Pedro Castillo and participate in the general assembly of the Organization of American States.

Cuba will present next November 2 and 3 before the United Nations General Assembly the resolution on the need to put an end to the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States. (Source: PL)
