Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Twitter.
Havana, October 14 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has denounced through his Twitter account, the lack of sensitivity of the U.S. government for the destabilization actions against Cuba.
"It is understandable the priority and concern of the U.S. government to investigate and prevent the repetition of events such as the assault on the Capitol," the foreign minister said on the social network.
However, he said "anyone would expect the same sensitivity when it comes to promoting and financing similar destabilizing actions against a sovereign state like Cuba".
The Cuban people have experienced the impact of an economic, commercial and financial blockade rejected by the international community for over 60 years.
The government of Donald Trump intensified that policy through the implementation of 243 measures that the current president, Joe Biden, maintains as a continuity of his position towards the families of the Caribbean island.
In November, the member countries of the United Nations will once again vote on the Cuban resolution: "Necessity of putting an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba"
