A perceptible earthquake of 4.6 magnitude was reported in the eastern region of the Island
Havana, Nov 8 (RHC) The National Center for Seismological Research of Cuba reported early Tuesday morning a perceptible earthquake of 4.6 magnitude northeast of the city of Las Tunas, in the eastern region of the Island.
According to the information, at 06:33 am local time today, the network of stations of the Cuban National Seismological Service recorded the tremor at coordinates 21.88 degrees north latitude and -76.38 degrees west longitude, at a depth of 1 km.
Reports have been received from several localities in the provinces of Las Tunas, Holguin, and Santiago de Cuba.
At the closing of the information, no material or human damages have been reported.
This is the No 8 perceptible earthquake of the year 2022.
