Havana, Nov 11 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez on Friday described as positive the dialogues and results of the recently concluded VI International Cooperation Conference of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS), held at the Packard Hotel in Havana.

In his closing remarks, the foreign minister said that the island placed its scientific and research potential at the disposal of the ACS member nations.

He stressed that the priority theme of the meeting was the reactivation of cooperation actions, as well as the "reaffirmation of solidarity as an indispensable element to face obstacles and growing challenges.

Rodríguez thanked the nations that last November 3, at the UN General Assembly, voted in favor of the resolution calling for the end of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
