Havana, Nov 29 (RHC) As part of the activities for the 58th anniversary of the Technological University of Havana, CUJAE, the 20th Scientific Convention of Engineering and Architecture opened Monday at the Palacio de las Convenciones with the principle of taking engineering and architecture towards a sustainable future.
At the opening of the event convened by the governing center of our country, the Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, Inés Chapman gave a keynote speech in which she referred to the work of the government system based on science and innovation, which she considered essential to advance in the development model.
She mentioned some strategic points in the implementation of the national development plan related to effective, efficient, and socially integrated socialist government, productive transformation and international insertion, infrastructure, human potential, natural resources, environment, and social justice.
in his opening speech, CUJAE Rector Modesto Ricardo Gómez detailed, that Cuba is the country with the largest participation in the event and said the delegates will promote joint work between the Cuban University and the participating countries.
