The Revolutionary Armed Forces Day was instituted as a tribute to the landing of the Granma
Havana, December 2 (RHC)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent his congratulations to the members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR), who are celebrating their day (December 2nd).
The Cuban president recalled and thanked the historic generation of the Cuban Revolution, protagonists of the expedition of the Granma yacht, in 1956, under the leadership of Fidel Castro Ruz.
