Havana, Dec 16 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez highlighted Friday on Twitter that our country and Vietnam confirmed their broad coincidences on issues on the international agenda.
The foreign minister referred to the meeting he held with Nguyen Minh Hang, assistant minister and director general of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation of Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting took place in the U.S. city of New York, where the G-77 + China Ministerial Conference was held on December 14 and 15.
Both officials highlighted the visit of Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz to Hanoi as part of his first Asian tour as head of government.
Due to Vietnam's current contribution to the island's development in different sectors, it is currently the second largest trading partner in Asia and Oceania and the first investor in the region in the Cuban archipelago. (Source: ACN)
