Bruno Rodriguez, Cuba-Pakistan relations
Havana, Dec 17 (RHC) The good state of relations between Cuba and Pakistan was highlighted today by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, through his Twitter account, after meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, Bilawal Bhuto Zardari.
The Cuban minister described as pleasant the meeting with his counterpart from the Asian nation, and said that "we expressed satisfaction for the good state of bilateral relations and willingness to continue strengthening the historical ties that unite both countries".
He added that "we discussed opportunities to expand economic, trade, and cooperation relations in sectors of mutual interest.
I shared unforgettable memories of the solidarity work of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Pakistan after the 2005 earthquake and the affection of the Pakistani people".
The meeting was held on the occasion of the 14th and 15th Ministerial Conference of the Group of 77 plus China, the organization of which Pakistan holds the pro tempore presidency at the UN headquarters in New York (Source: PL).
