Moscow, Dec 28 (RHC) Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation issues.
According to the Russian government, among the topics discussed by the two heads of state was a collaboration in the energy and industrial spheres, sectors with an important bilateral exchange.
The Eurasian nation's government communiqué said Putin and Díaz-Canel also expressed their intention to continue strengthening the Russian-Cuban strategic partnership comprehensively.
In addition, the leaders confirmed their readiness to consistently implement the agreements reached during Diaz-Canel's visit to Moscow on November 19-22, with due consideration of the proposals and wishes of the Cuban side, the Kremlin added.
