Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel
Havana, Cuba, Jan 19 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Thursday urged local authorities to use their talent to challenge the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States.
After being acquainted with the development potential and project results in this eastern Cuban province, the Cuban leader praised the strategies rolled out in the province.
During that meeting, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero made a similar statement, calling for seeking solutions to guarantee progress in the current year.
According to Roberto Morales, Secretary of the Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Guantánamo province is currently progressing but not enough, and urged locals to continue working for reaching a much more positive impact on locals´ spiritual and material satisfaction. (Prensa Latina)
