Torres hopes to consolidate the historical ties of the Spanish islands with Latin America and the Caribbean.

Havana, Jan 27 (RHC) The president of the Government of the Canary Islands, Angel Victor Torres will visit Cuba and Venezuela from February 4 to 12, announced the spokesman of the Executive, Julio Perez.
During his stay in those countries, Torres plans to exchange with members of the respective colonies of the Canaries, as well as to advance different meetings at the political, economic, and institutional levels.
"The also secretary general of the Unified Socialist Workers Party of the Canary Islands is confident of consolidating the historical ties of the Spanish islands with Latin America and the Caribbean," said Perez.
The spokesman also pointed out that there are still no dates for a future trip of Torres to Morocco, pending the results of the bilateral summit to be held by the Spanish Government with its similar one in Rabat. (Source: Radio Reloj)
