Havana, Feb 10 (RHC) Dr. Tania Margarita Cruz Hernández, first deputy minister of Public Health, today bid farewell to the last group of Cuban collaborators who will provide medical assistance in Mexico.
At the Central Unit of Medical Cooperation, Dr. Santiago Badía González, secretary general of the National Union of Health Workers, said that this brigade, made up of 61 professionals, is the 11th that will fulfill the commitment of sending specialists of the highest qualification to attend the brotherly Mexican people.

Badía González thanked the Mexican government for the trust placed in the health professionals and said that they are the foundation of cooperation that is expected to be strong, lasting, and sincere.
On behalf of the collaborators, Dr. Orleidys Torres Quintana said this is a mission to save lives and thus contribute to increasing the quality and well-being of families in need.
She pointed out that respecting the health protocols, customs, traditions, culture, and identity of Mexicans is the responsibility of each professional. (Source: ACN)
