Havana, Feb 10 (RHC) Fidel Castro is a symbol of freedom and liberation of the peoples, said Maja Gojković, Serbia's deputy prime minister and head of Culture, on Friday in Havana when she visited the center named after the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
After touring the different exhibition halls, where the life and work of the Commander in Chief are collected, Gojković said that his figure is well known in her nation, and recalled that he was one of the founders of the Non-Aligned Movement as well as Josip Broz Tito, president of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1953-1980).
She said that this is her third visit to Cuba and she will surely return because it is an impressive country, she said.
The deputy prime minister handed over to the Fidel Castro Center a collection of images and videos on the presence of the Cuban leader in the former Yugoslavia, which will contribute to enriching the institution's archive.
