Cuban Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso and his Venezuelan counterpart Ernesto Villegas signed a memorandum of understanding
Havana, Feb 12 (RHC) Cuban Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso and his Venezuelan counterpart Ernesto Villegas signed in Havana a memorandum of understanding to strengthen and expand bilateral cultural relations.
The agreement proposes to articulate cultural, art, and community projects between the two nations, as informed by Cuba´s Culture Ministry (MINCULT).
According to statements, the executive program is based on the need to jointly promote the cultural and artistic processes. It also creates a suitable framework to increase exchanges of artistic exhibitions and academic activities.
Alonso and Villegas also met with Colombian Cultures, Arts, and Knowledge Minister Patricia Ariza who was also present at the ceremony. (Prensa Latina)
