Cuba to hold its Wine Festival in October

Havana, Jul 13 (RHC) Cuba will once again hold on-site the International Wine Festival, on its 22nd edition, at the Hotel Nacional next October.

The new event is reportedly slated from October 4 to 6 this year at its usual venue, the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, the commercial specialist of that facility, Víctor Gregorio Rosquete, reiterated on Wednesday.

He explained that as on previous occasions, new products and flavors will be presented to the local market, especially as an added value for Cuba’s tourism.

On this occasion, producers, wine dealers, specialists, distributors, sellers, and consumers will have the opportunity to fraternize and exhibit their wines.

The 1930 Salon will bring together the participating companies and wineries, where presentations will also be made.

In this regard, the organizer added that the program includes for September 29 (preliminary) a Blind Tasting, while the official opening of the meeting and specialized presentations will be on October 4, and for the 5th presentations, conferences, workshops, business meetings, and pairing of Havana cigars with wines.

On October 6, there will be other specialized presentations, conferences, workshops, and business meetings, as well as the awards ceremony and closing ceremony in the 1930 Room. (Source: PL)
