National party of solidarity association with Cuba concluded in Italy
Havana, Jul 31 (RHC) The annual party of the Italy-Cuba National Friendship Association (ANAIC) that has been held since July 28 in the northern city of Savona, concluded early this Monday.
During the last day, which culminated with a concert by the musical group A Briga, a debate was held on the subject of Cuba and Latin America, with interventions by the Cuban ambassador in Italy, Mirta Granda, and her Bolivian counterpart, Sonia Brito, as well as the Venezuelan consul in Milan, Giancarlo Di Martino.
The head of the Nicaraguan diplomatic mission in Rome, Mónica Robelo, also sent a written greeting, while Cuban journalist Randy Alonso closed the debate.
During this annual ANAIC festival, culture and politics were mixed for three days in a festive atmosphere, under the sign of solidarity with Cuba, as stated by the president of ANAIC, Marco Papacci.
The annual party of the ANAIC took place within the framework of the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada barracks, and in it the rejection of the criminal commercial, economic and financial blockade of the United States was reaffirmed, as well as the current war media against Cuba and its Revolution.
