Third Round of Cuba-Bolivia Migration Talks will be in session in Bolivia
Havana, Aug 16 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported today that the 3rd Round of Talks on Migration Issues between the Republic of Cuba and the Plurinational State of Bolivia will be held this Thursday, August 17, in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
As indicated by the Foreign Ministry on its website, both delegations will examine the state of the migratory flow and evaluate the implementation of joint actions aimed at discouraging illegal acts associated with irregular displacements.
During the exchange they will discuss the importance of guaranteeing regular, orderly and safe trips, the source added.
The Cuban part will be chaired by Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, Director of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cubans Resident Abroad, while the Bolivian delegation will be headed by Eva Chuquimia Mamani, Vice Minister of Institutional Management and Consular Activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
