Cuba mourns human losses due to traffic accident in Bolivia
Havana, Aug 17 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez lamented the loss of life due to a traffic accident that occurred this Thursday on the route between Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, in Bolivia.
On his Twitter profile, the head of Foreign Relations of the Caribbean island expressed his condolences to the people and the government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, and extended them to family and friends of the victims.
According to Bolivian press, the accident so far has left 20 dead and 39 injured, the latter receiving medical attention in different care centers.
The Bolivian newspaper El Deber reported that the tragedy occurred after a passenger bus plunged down a ravine in the town of Locotal, on the Cochabamba-Santa Cruz highway. (Source: PL)
