New York, September 17 (RHC)-- The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, who also represents the Group of 77 (G77) + China, arrived this Sunday in New York City, headquarters of the United Nations, to participate in the 78th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
The participation of the Cuban president in the UN meeting will have a special significance, due to the responsibility that comes with representing the interests, aspirations and legitimate claims of the 134 countries of the South grouped in the G77.
The Cuban president will also denounce the intensification of the criminal blockade imposed by the United States against the Cuban people and the unjustified inclusion of the island in the unilateral list of alleged State sponsors of terrorism.

The high-level segment of the General Assembly brings together in New York more than 100 heads of state and government and other high-level dignitaries from the 193 member states of the United Nations.
