Cuban president praised meeting with his Brazilian counterpart
Havana, Dec 2 (RHC) Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel praised this Saturday the meeting with his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in the context of the summit of the Group of 77 in the COP28.
En su cuenta en la red social X, antes Twitter, el mandatario cubano expresó gran satisfacción por reunirse con el «hermano Lula», y comentó que resaltaron el avance positivo de los vínculos bilaterales.
In his X account, he expressed satisfaction for the meeting, and commented that they ratified the willingness to continue working on its strengthening of bilateral links, based on identified opportunities.
Díaz-Canel inaugurated this Saturday the Summit of the Group of 77 within the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP28), with a call to close gaps.
Cuba, in its capacity as pro tempore president of the bloc, called this first Summit of its top leaders as a space for reflection and coordination of positions among southern countries, in the face of climate negotiations. (Source: PL)
