44th Havana Film Festival is linked to literature

Havana, Dec 5 (RHC) The Cuban Book Institute and Ediciones ICAIC this year will present three titles in the context of the 44th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema.

The event will take place on December 9 at 11 a.m. local time in the traditional Sábado del Libro space on Madera Street, located in Old Havana.

The volumes reserved for the event are Living under the rain, by Julio García Espinosa; The Latin American cinema of disenchantment, by Justo Planas; and A turn of the screw. Author Cinema Cult Films”, by Alberto Garrandés, from Ediciones ICAIC.

Carlos Galiano, film critic, screenwriter and host of the television program Historia del cine (History of Cinema); Víctor Fowler, writer, essayist and poet; and Manuel Herrera, 2022 national film award, will participate in the presentation. (Source: PL)
