Havana, Dec 12 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and Angolan party leader Manuel Domingos ratified the will to continue strengthening bilateral ties in the economic and commercial fields.

In a meeting held in this capital, the foreign minister and the member of the Political Bureau for International Relations of the People's Liberation Movement of Angola -MPLA-, valued the high level of historical and brotherhood ties, Rodriguez reported on the social network X.

Domingos also met on Monday with the Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Roberto Morales, who recalled the visits of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, to the African nation.

During the dialogue, the Angolan party leader condemned the blockade imposed by the United States on the island and assured that this "is increasingly focused on hardening the lives of the Cuban people".

As evidence of the will of both parties to consolidate and advance relations, an exchange and cooperation agreement was signed between the PCC and the MPLA.

According to the Cuban political organization, the agreement will make possible the strengthening of party relations in areas such as the formation and training of cadres and bilateral cooperation in the economic field.

Referring to the signed agreement, Domingos described it as a legal instrument of great importance that consecrates the historical relations between the two parties.

He indicated that in order to fulfill all the tasks foreseen therein, a road map was also signed which establishes the annual program to be implemented between the organizations (Source: Prensa Latina).
