Journalism and Tourism Seminar will soon be held in Havana
Havana, June 3 (RHC) The 17th International Journalism and Tourism Seminar will take place in Havana from June 17 to 21, in the midst of great efforts to promote the travel industry in Cuba.
The meeting will focus on “Current trends in tourism and communication with emphasis on sustainability and heritage in the leisure industry”, and will be held at the José Martí International Institute of Journalism. The academic sessions will take place in the morning, while in the afternoon there will be tours of places of tourist interest in the capital.
Nearly 60 professionals will attend the seminar, 45 of which will do so from countries such as Colombia, once again the most represented, followed by Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay and Argentina, among others.
These meetings are organized by the José Martí International Institute of Journalism and its journalism chair in coordination with the Tourist Press Circle, of the Union of Journalists of Cuba.
