Cienfuegos, June 21 (RHC) -- The debates of the National Council of the Hermanos Saiz Association (AHS) continue, which meets in this central and southern city to be more useful to the writers and artists that make it up and to general society, whose program will be extended until this Friday, the 21st.
They were accompanied in the analysis of topics by the Vice Minister of Culture Lizette Martínez Luzardo, the First Secretary of the National Committee of the Union of Young Communists, Meivys Estévez Echavarría, as well as the First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party, Armando Carranza Valladares and the Governor , Yolexis Rodríguez Armada.
They planned events and artistic brigades for the approaching summer, during the months of July and August in each of the Cuban provinces. This is what Yasel Toledo Garnache, writer, journalist, President of the AHS and Director of the magazine El Caimán Barbudo, refers to.
“We approved ten new creative projects from seven provinces in the country, he announces, which will receive budgets. The stay in Cienfuegos has also been very positive because of the possibility we have had to visit historical sites, and delve into the art of this province, to share with personalities.”
This Friday they will climb Pico San Juan, the highest point of the mountains of the Guamuhaya Group in the center of the country, as part of the activities of the AHS, with the challenge of being like the young people who make it up, a real vanguard, more beyond art and culture.
