Tapia also stressed the importance and implementation of the consensus reached between the presidents of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel and China, Xi Jinping.

The vice premier heads a delegation from the largest of the Antilles participating in the Second High-Level Meeting of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development, organized by the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).

During his meeting with Wang Shouwen, the Asian representative referred to the relevance of this event in which new ways to promote cooperation and the implementation of the Global Development Initiative, proposed by Beijing, are outlined.

The event will be held until July 13 under the theme "Promoting sustainable development: sustained action for a better future", informed Cidca.
