Also present are members of the Political Bureau of the PCC, Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister; Salvador Valdés Mesa, Vice President of the Republic, and the Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdés Menéndez, Deputy Prime Minister.
In front of the Provincial Library ‘Rubén Martínez Villena’, in the historic center of the city, the evening takes place, bringing together some of the most indigenous music from Sancti Spíritus.
Verses, dances and audiovisuals that recall the legacy of the Commander in Chief and his numerous visits to these lands complement a show that, under the title ‘Forever Fidel’, brings together almost 200 artists.
This is the third time that Sancti Spíritus hosts the celebrations for the Day of National Rebellion, whose central event will take place tomorrow Friday, in the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Serafín Sánchez Valdivia. (Source: ACN)
