The Venezuelan Supreme Court of Justice on Thursday confirmed the victory of President Nicolás Maduro after a formal review of the results of the presidential elections held on July 28.
Havana, Aug. 23 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel reiterated today his support for Venezuela's sovereignty after the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) confirmed Nicolás Maduro's victory in that country's presidential elections.
This was echoed the previous day by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, who called for respect for the decisions of Venezuelan institutions and for an end to interference in the South American country.

The ruling confirmed that "the bulletins issued by the National Electoral Council are fully and unequivocally supported by the tally sheets issued by each of the machines".
