Cuba promoted as unique destination at the Argentine Tourism Fair
Havana, September 28 (RHC) The attractions of Cuba as a unique destination will be highlighted today in Buenos Aires, at the 28th International Tourism Fair of Latin America (FIT), which brings together exhibitors from more than 50 countries in Argentina.
According to tourism advisor Janet Ayala, the participation of Cuba will be full of novelties, among them the presentation of a direct flight to Key Largo that will begin in January and will have a weekly frequency.
In addition, recently the island launched the Evisa platform that makes it easier for visitors to obtain the required tourist card. It allows users to start their procedures online from any device connected to the Internet; offers a more efficient and agile service; saves the user from managing physical documents; and is another step towards the modernization of the consular system.
Based at the La Rural exhibition center, FIT has Brazil as a guest country and expects to receive more than 125 thousand visitors.
In statements to the press, the president of FIT and the Argentine Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations, Andrés Deyá, highlighted the importance of the event, which is consolidated as a space to identify and attract new offers, show the riches of the places promoted, and learn about the latest developments and trends in the sector.
The fair will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, while on Monday and Tuesday it will be reserved for professionals. (Source: PL)
