This edition of Juriscuba focuses on legal security
Havana, Oct 22 (RHC) The fourth Juriscuba International Congress begins today at the Havana Convention Palace, focused on legal security.
Until next Thursday, hundreds of professionals and researchers from Cuba and other countries will convene to discuss a wide range of topics, including registration law, legal advice, normative creation, legal culture, notarial law, and the process of computerization.
Many of the presentations focus on the principles of organization, operation, and effectiveness of public registers, the right to identity and civil registry, as well as the challenges posed by the computerization of these registers.
There will also be discussions related to the social impact of legislative activity, legal forms of intellectual property protection, and the relationship between legal advice and economics.
Gender and childhood perspectives in the legislative process and legal education for children and adolescents will also be among the issues addressed during this three-day event.
The congress, organized by the Ministry of Justice, is sponsored by the National Union of Cuban Lawyers, the Society of Cuban Notaries, the Law Faculty of the University of Havana, Grupo Societario Servicios Legales S.A., the National Association of Collective Law Firms, and the United Nations Children's Fund.
