Havana, October 20 (RHC-acn) Bolivian President Evo Morales arrived in Havana early Monday to attend the extraordinary Summit on Ebola by the members of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Trade Agreement of Peoples (ALBA-TCP).
The Bolivian president praised Cuba's international solidarity and specially in those countries suffering the Ebola outbreak. He said ALBA country members want to unite efforts in the struggle to fight pandemic.
Morales spoke of Fidel Castro's latest article titled “Time of Duty” addressing international cooperation and the role of health specialists to treat and control the deadly virus.
Bolivian Deputy Health Minister Ariana Campero told teleSUR that her country already has medical supplies to safeguard health personnel from the virus in hospital, clinics and at borders.
