San José, December 3 (RHC)-- Costa Rican President Luis Guillermo Solís has announced that he will pay an official visit to Cuba December 15th and 16th, aimed at strengthening ties.
The Costa Rican head of state said that another objective of his visit here it to advance his country's interest in strengthening relations with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), with which Cuba enjoys high prestige.
Relations between Cuba and Costa Rica have advanced steadily since bilateral diplomatic ties were re-established on March 19th, 2009.
