Havana, December 16 (RHC)-- The Cuban Tourism Ministry has announced that the first direct flight of Air China from Beijing will arrive in Havana on December 27th. The flight will bring 300 passengers on board and will be aimed at opening a route to increase the visits of Chinese tourists to the island.
A Boeing 777 of Air China will connect Beijing and Havana three times a week, with a stop-over in Montreal, Canada.
Between January and September this year, over 20,000 Chinese tourists traveled to Cuba, according to the island's National Statistics Office.
