Havana, June 17 (RHC)-- The governments of Cuba and Guatemala have relaunched bilateral trade and economic ties, particularly in the tourism sector.
Executives with the Cuban agency Havanatur traveled to the Central American country to identify specific tourism offers that could be included in joint packages.
Havanatur Director Víctor Veloso said that one of the objectives of the trip to Guatemala is to negotiate with airliners there the reestablishment of direct flights between the two countries –an indispensable requirement toward further joint tourism development.
