Havana, August 22 (RHC)-- Cuban writer Félix Mondéjar, who signed his books as F. Mond, died Tuesday morning in Havana at the age of 82.
This was reported in his social networks by the Gente Nueva publishing house, in a text that recalled passages from the work of the author who essentially worked science fiction with a dose of humor.
Titles such as 'Para verte reír', '¿Dónde está mi Habana', 'Con perdón de los terrícolas', 'Crónicas Koradianas', 'Vida, pasión y suerte', 'Hasta que la muerte nos una' and 'Recuérdame', among others, won him a large group of admirers inside and outside the island.
F. Mond won in 1979 a mention in Science Fiction Literature at the David Award, the most important literary contest in the largest Antillean Island for new authors, sponsored by the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba.
