Havana, September 13 (RHC) – The Cuban outfielder Yurisbel Gracial connected this Thursday his 25th Home-Run of the season and brought home the go-ahead run to give the SoftBank Hawks a victory 3-2 over the Seibu Lions in the Nippon Baseball League (NBP) of Japan.
The Cuban outfielder, who went 2-3 in the game, watched his Batting Average grow to 318 and his RBI total to 61. His teammate and also Cuban Alfredo Despaigne went 2-4 and now bats 268.
In another match, the Puerto Rican Neftali Soto hit his 40th Homer of the season but it was not no enough to help his team, the DeNA Stars, that eventually lost 5-8 to the Yomiuri Giants.
