Havana, (RHC) – The Cuban superstar both in the NPB and the Cuban National Baseball Series, Alfredo Despaigne, leads the 36 ball players that are hoping to make the final cut in order to represent Cuba in the upcoming Pre-Olympic Tournament, set to be played in Arizona, United States, from March 22 to March 26.

The group of players, that will start a training camp at Latinoamericano Stadium next February 3, is formed by 5 Catchers, 11 Infielders, 5 Outfielders and 15 Pitchers.

The team manager will be Miguel Borroto, who coached the Cuban team in the last international event they payed, the Premier 12.
