Investigation underway at U.S. Army base after sexual assault allegation
Oklahoma City, April 7 (RHC)-- In the U.S. state of Oklahoma, an investigation is underway after a soldier at the Fort Sill Army training base said she was sexually assaulted by 22 servicemembers — sometimes in groups.
At least 20 personnel at Fort Still have been suspended. Speaking to The Intercept, an Army official referred to the case as “Fort Hood 2.0” — referencing the sexual harassment and killing last April of 20-year-old soldier Vanessa Guillén by a fellow servicemember.
