President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is recovering well
Havana, March 27 (RHC) The Minister of the Communication Secretariat of the Brazilian Presidency, Paulo Pimenta, assured that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is recovering very well and is making an effort to resume his agenda.
Based on medical guidance, the founder of the Workers' Party decided last Saturday to postpone his weekend trip to Beijing, suspension communicated to the authorities of that country.
A medical note indicates that Lula was admitted to the Sirio-Libanés hospital in Brasilia on March 23 with flu-like symptoms. After clinical evaluation, a diagnosis of bacterial and viral bronchopneumonia due to influenza A was made, and treatment was started.
