Israel continues attacking Palestinian civilians
Ramallah, Jun 26 (RHC) Israeli security forces and settlers continue their attacks against the Palestinian civilian population in the occupied West Bank despite the wave of international criticism in recent days.
The village of Rummana, one of the towns hardest hit by the military operations since last year, was stormed by soldiers close to midnight.
Dozens of people were nearly asphyxiated as a result of the tear gas used by the army.
The soldiers also raided the neighboring towns of Jalboun and Faqqu’a, the Wafa news agency said.
Moreover, dozens of Israeli settlers damaged numerous Palestinian cars at the entrance to the town of Yasouf. Acts of vandalism by the radical groups were also reported elsewhere in the West Bank.
The Palestinian government blamed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the increase in attacks in the occupied territories and for inciting various members of his cabinet to commit crimes.
These violations confirm the “policy adopted by Netanyahu’s far-right Executive and are also a direct reflection of the campaigns to incite the murder of Palestinians, especially by racist extremists,” denounced the Foreign Ministry stated that the Israeli ruling coalition systematically undermines any regional and international effort to restart dialogue to solve the conflict.
