Havana, Nov. 9 (RHC) Palestinian medical sources said that many of those wounded by Israeli aggressions are dying in the streets of Gaza because there is no way to transfer them to hospitals and the latter lack medical personnel.
The sources, quoted by the Palestinian news agency Wafa, said that a number of injured in Kamal Adwan hospital in the north of the coastal enclave lost their lives due to the lack of surgical specialists, adding that some of the injured manage to reach this medical center on foot because there is not a single ambulance in the northern Gaza Strip.
They denounced that the Israeli occupation army arrested most of the medical staff 10 days ago, leaving only two doctors and some nurses.
Also, several children and doctors were injured by the direct and indiscriminate shelling of the hospital facilities by the occupation army.
Despite the hospital administration's constant appeals to the world and international and humanitarian institutions for help, we have not received any response, the sources said.
During 35 days of intense bombardment from land and air, and in the midst of a strict siege that prevents the entry of food, water and medicine, more than 1,800 civilians have been killed in the northern Gaza Strip and thousands more wounded, mostly women and children. (Source: Prensa Latina)
